TERMS OF SERVICE

These are the terms which are agreed between Professional Animal Waste Solution (PAWS) & all our customers.

Visits:


All visits that are scheduled but where access is not possible at the time of the visit will still be charged as normal. We are happy to enter gardens etc. but we should be informed where bins will be kept on collection days. Any access that is usually restricted by padlocks etc. should either be unlocked or access provided on a scheduled visit day.

Holiday Periods:


If your pets are to be away from the address we service or if as a business you are to be shut for a period of time, we require a minimum of one week's notice. We can either arrange to have the collections/cleans made from an alternative address (providing it is within our serviced area) or temporarily suspend services on your account.

Equipment:


All bins and bags supplied to waste collection customers remain the property of PAWS. If services are cancelled, these items will be collected on our last paid visit.

Bin Use:


Lockable waste collection bins are available on request. Bins are for bagged waste only. This can be either our bags, or bags which you supply. No un-bagged waste should be placed within the supplied bins.
Bins also have weight limits: The 25 ltr bin has a set limit of 4kg in weight & the 50 ltr bin has a set limit of 8kg.

Invoicing:


Invoicing is done on a monthly basis & should be paid in advance of services. Invoices will be emailed by the 1st of each month, and are expected to be paid within 14 days. 


Those that join mid-month will only be invoiced for the remaining collections/cleans within that period to bring them in line.


Current prices can be found online. No price rises will occur without at least 1 months notice. Customers will always receive the option of cancellation before prices change.

Payments:


All new customers will be sent a direct debit link, through GoCardless. To opt for an alternative payment method via invoicing, just send an email requesting this option and invoicing will be set up. Invoices may be paid in cash or via bank transfer, using the below details:

Discounts:


All our customers (residential & business) can have up to 3 permanent discounts and 1 temporary discount allocated at any one time. Permanent discounts are earned via our “Friends of PAWS” offer. This is a recommend a friend scheme: Anybody who introduces a friend will now receive a discount per collection, as will their recommended friend, for the entire time their friend uses our service. Each discount is worth 50p, per collection, per week for both parties.


Temporary discounts will be offered from time to time as rewards etc & again will be worth 50p per collection, per week, for the stated period within the current offer.


Friends must state who recommended them on their sign up form.   

Service Day:


Occasionally service days may need to be changed from arranged, either temporarily in unavoidable circumstances, or permanently as rounds expand and change with the business. Email notifications will always be sent before, where possible. Any permanent changes will always be made with plenty of notice and time for consultation.

Additional Charges:


Although we reserve the right to make additional charges for a number of listed items, this does not mean we will charge for every small infringement. Whilst we are a business, we are not in the business of making additional charges unnecessarily. These reservations are in place as a precaution & to cover costs when deemed necessary.


Additional charges can be made for:


·       missing or damaged equipment during and/or at the end of a service agreement
·       un-bagged waste being placed in our waste collection bins
·       bins exceeding their assigned weight limits
·       late payments without proper communication/explanation

Cancellation:


There is no fixed contract in place. Cancellation of services is simply a matter of emailing a cancellation statement before the end of the current month, with a minimum of one week's notice. Then on the last paid visit date, the bin & any other property belonging to PAWS will be collected at the time of the visit.
